Artificial Intelligence Consultant | AI Platforms & Governance | Paderborn (Hybrid)
AI Futures has been retained to appoint a Artificial Intelligence Consultant for a major German organisation undergoing a large-scale digital and AI transformation. The role will own the vision, roadmap and delivery of enterprise AI products and platforms, driving the adoption of Microsoft AI technologies and secure AI capabilities across the business.
This is realistically a technically focused Product Owner role for someone who can bridge product strategy, AI architecture and engineering, taking AI products from discovery and MVP through to enterprise deployment.
Hybrid: 1 day/week onsite in Paderborn
Remuneration: Up to €100k total package
The Role
- Own the product vision, strategy and roadmap for enterprise AI products and platforms across the Microsoft ecosystem
- Define and prioritise AI product backlogs, ensuring clear outcomes, user stories, acceptance criteria and delivery priorities
- Partner with architects, engineers, data teams, security and business stakeholders to take AI products from concept through to production
- Shape scalable AI platform capabilities, technical requirements, security controls and governance frameworks
- Translate business and user needs into technical product requirements and actionable development roadmaps
- Drive product lifecycle management, adoption, performance measurement and continuous improvement
- Evaluate emerging AI technologies, models, frameworks and platforms to identify opportunities for new products and capabilities
- Ensure AI products and platforms align with EU AI Act, GDPR and enterprise security and compliance requirements
The Candidate
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Informatics or a related technical discipline
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Agentic AI and enterprise AI product development
- Experience owning AI products, platforms or digital products through discovery, MVP, production and scale
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Services or comparable enterprise AI platforms
- Knowledge of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, AI orchestration frameworks, APIs and cloud-based AI architectures
- Able to translate complex technical concepts into clear product decisions, priorities and business outcomes
- Strong understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, data protection and enterprise security
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively at both strategic and technical levels
- Languages: German (English a bonus)
