VP of Product | DAX 40 | Digital Experience, Discovery & Commerce Platforms | Berlin (Hybrid)
AI Futures has been exclusively retained to hire a VP of Product for a leading DAX 40 company based in the Berlin region.
This is a senior product leadership role at the heart of the company’s digital experience and commerce strategy, owning the platforms, journeys, and experiences used by millions of customers and frontline teams.
The successful candidate will define the vision, strategy, and operating model for the Services product organisation, delivering seamless, scalable, and high-quality digital experiences.
Hybrid:
2 days per week onsite in Berlin
Remuneration:
Up to €350k total package (flexibility available)
The Role
- Own the strategy and roadmap for core App and Web foundations, including Login, Identity, Onboarding, Home Experience, Navigation, Profile, and Settings.
- Lead discovery and personalisation across navigation, search, recommendations, and tailored experiences, helping customers find the right products, services, content, and support.
- Define the strategy for digital commerce and self-service journeys, spanning discovery, offers, checkout, payments, subscriptions, order management, renewals, and account servicing.
- Set the quality bar for digital products, owning metrics including NPS, reliability, performance, App Store ratings, crash-free users, conversion, and web experience.
- Build and scale platforms for retail and customer care teams, while creating reusable capabilities that improve frontline productivity and enable faster launches.
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing product organisation, establishing strong product practices, clear ownership, and a culture of customer-focused execution.
The Candidate
- 10+ years’ experience in Product Management, with significant experience leading Product Managers and cross-functional teams.
- Proven experience managing high-traffic consumer mobile applications across iOS and Android.
- Strong background combining consumer experiences with platform capabilities, discovery, personalisation, commerce, self-service, and enterprise workflows.
- Experience building or scaling digital commerce platforms, including product/catalogue experiences, search, recommendations, checkout, payments, subscriptions, or order management.
- Technical fluency across APIs, architecture, performance, analytics, experimentation, personalisation, and design systems, with a track record of measurable outcomes.
- Strong stakeholder leadership across Engineering, Design, Data, Commercial, and Operations. Experience in telecoms, subscription services, digital commerce, or marketplaces is advantageous.
- Languages: English (German a bonus).
