This is a unique opportunity to lead a talented team of Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers while defining the company's long‑term data and AI strategy.
You'll combine technical leadership with commercial impact, delivering advanced analytics and AI solutions that influence product development, customer experience and business performance.
The Role As Head of Data Science, you'll lead the Data Science function, helping to shape both the technical direction and the future growth of the team.
Working closely with Engineering, Product and senior leadership, you'll identify opportunities where data and AI can create measurable value, while fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing Data Science team.
Define and execute the company's Data Science strategy.
Deliver Machine Learning and AI solutions from concept through to production.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to build data-driven products.
Drive best practices across experimentation, model development and deployment.
Work with senior stakeholders to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
Build a culture focused on innovation, collaboration and continuous improvement.
Support the continued growth of the Data Science function through hiring and mentoring.
About You Proven leadership experience within Data Science or Machine Learning.
Expertise in Python and modern Machine Learning frameworks.
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Strong understanding of MLOps, model deployment and the end-to-end ML lifecycle.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent English (German advantageous).
