Competitive Salary + 20% bonus + VSOP

We're partnering with a Munich-based humanoid robotics start-up building robots that do useful work reliably and at a viable cost. They're now hiring a hardware-focused Product Manager to take the humanoid from prototype towards volume production.

The role

You will own the hardware product: translating real customer needs into requirements, making the cost and feature trade-offs, and steering the robot through a gated development process towards production. You'll work closely with the Head of Product and the mechanical, electrical and supply chain teams.

  • Turn customer use cases into system and hardware requirements: payload, reach, uptime, serviceability and BOM cost targets

  • Own the product lifecycle, from concept through prototype, validation and pilot to production

  • Drive cost-down and design-for-manufacture decisions with engineering and suppliers

  • Run competitor gap analysis and shape the product roadmap

  • Take proven use cases and replicate them across customers

  • Own pilot-to-volume readiness

What they're looking for

  • Products shipped at meaningful volume. This is the most important requirement.

  • Hands-on experience of a gated development process. It could be NPI, stage-gate, phase-gate, PEP or APQP; the label doesn't matter.

  • A hardware, mechatronics or engineering background, with the credibility to hold your own in technical trade-off discussions

  • Product ownership: you've set the requirements and made the calls, not only managed the project

Nice to have

  • Experience in humanoids, robotics, cobots, AMRs, exoskeletons or industrial automation

  • Automotive, e-mobility or consumer electronics NPI experience

What's on offer

  • A chance to shape the product of a humanoid robot at a pivotal stage, moving from prototype to production

  • High ownership and direct impact in a start-up environment

  • Up to €120,000 + 20% bonus + VSOP
