About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer , you will play a key role in shaping and maintaining the company’s modern data infrastructure. You’ll design efficient data pipelines, support the development of data models, and ensure that the flow of data across systems is smooth, reliable, and ready for analytics. Working closely with technical and business teams, you’ll turn complex data challenges into actionable insights that drive value for clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks or Microsoft Fabric .
- Develop and manage ETL/ELT workflows and data transformations with dbt .
- Use Python and SQL to develop efficient, maintainable data solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clean, high-quality, and accessible data.
- Contribute to data architecture , governance, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Support the integration of new data sources and assist in implementing best practices across the engineering team.
Your Profile
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a similar technical field.
- Strong practical experience with Databricks or Microsoft Fabric .
- Advanced skills in Python , SQL , and dbt .
- Experience in data pipeline orchestration , data warehousing , and cloud-based architectures .
- Solid understanding of data governance, version control, and CI/CD processes.
- Analytical mindset with a proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- German language proficiency at B2 level or higher , plus solid English skills.
- Comfortable working on-site 3 days per week in a hybrid setup.
