AI Futures has been retained to appoint a AI Solution Architect for a major German organisation undergoing enterprise-scale cloud and AI transformation.
This role owns the end-to-end architecture of Azure AI platforms, creating secure, scalable, and production-ready foundations for enterprise AI adoption. Strategic in scope yet hands‑on in execution, you will translate AI ambition into robust cloud architectures and operational standards.
Hybrid: 1 day/week onsite in Hannover
Remuneration: Up to €120k total package
The Role
- Own the architecture vision and roadmap for enterprise Cloud & AI platforms on Azure
- Design and implement enterprise Landing Zones aligned with the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework
- Define secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient AI architectures
- Establish governance, observability, reliability, high availability, and disaster recovery standards
- Create and maintain reference architectures, architecture decision records (ADRs), and reusable IaC/CI-CD templates
- Lead architecture reviews and provide guidance on build-vs-buy decisions and tech selection
The Candidate
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Informatics, xayajpt or comparable
- Experience in Solution Architecture, Cloud Architecture, or Platform Engineering
- Deep knowledge of Azure OpenAI, Azure ML, MLOps, and modern data architectures
- Hands‑on with Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong background in security architecture, identity, networking, and compliance frameworks
- Languages: German (English is a strong plus)
