We’re looking for a Freelance IT Director to join a growing team of 4, with further growth planned.
The ideal candidate will have an engineering/technical background and have progressed into leadership, while still enjoying a hands-on role.
📍 Berlin – 1 day/week onsite
⏱️ 4-month contract | Start ASAP
Key requirements:
- IT/Infrastructure leadership experience in a scale-up or regulated environment
- Strong technical understanding and experience working with engineering teams
- Security, compliance and audit experience
- Vendor management and build vs. buy vs. outsource decision-making
- Exposure to AI/agentic infrastructure is a plus
- Comfortable balancing strategy, leadership and hands-on technical work
