Air Charter Service is the number one charter broker, and we currently have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented and driven Financial Controller to join our team in Frankfurt. You will oversee ACS Germany and Time Critical Services offices.

Job Description

We are seeking a Financial Controller to manage the financial activities of our group companies in Germany. You will collaborate with local management and head office finance to safeguard company assets. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Operation and enhancement of internal financial controls
• Financial reporting to local and group management
• Management of sales and purchase ledgers
• Balance sheet reconciliations and control
• Credit control and cash flow optimization
• Payroll operations in coordination with HR
• Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
• Ensuring local tax compliance in collaboration with the group tax manager
• Supervising two employees across multiple locations

Qualifications

• Near completion or in the later stages of a professional accountancy qualification
• Previous experience in financial management at the company level
• Experience with German tax compliance (desired)
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis
• Strong focus on balance sheet accuracy
• English language skills; additional languages are a plus
