Senior Business Development Manager, Southeast & Mid‑Atlantic
Responsible for expanding the Airbnb‑friendly program in the Eastern United States, focusing on Airbnb‑friendly apartments, Airbnb‑friendly for sale partnerships, and abridged housing (apart‑hotel types).
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Supply Operations team to develop outreach strategies for developers, owners, operators, and investors in rental and for‑sale housing.
- Create and curate a high‑impact prospect list, moving each prospect through the sales funnel from outreach to nurture to close.
- Hand off closed deals to Implementation and Account Management and work with Account Management to grow existing partnerships.
- Travel extensively (≈33% of time) within the region and nationally to meet prospects, attend events, and launch new partners.
Typical Day
- Conduct research into high‑value developers, owners, operators, and investors.
- Engage prospects via networking, cold calling, market visits, industry events, etc.
- Qualify prospects and identify opportunities to add value.
- Lead in‑person and virtual partnership presentations.
- Manage the CRM pipeline to forecast quota achievement.
- Negotiate contracts through legal processes.
- Work towards monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Provide product feedback to the Airbnb for Real Estate team.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
- Working knowledge of multifamily, condominium, and/or hospitality real estate acquisitions.
