Job Description
In order to support Integration, Airbus Commercial is looking for an Intern within R&T Fuselage (d/f/m). Are you looking for an internship? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Typical Fuselage Integration R&T Team as an intern (d/f/m)!
Location: Hamburg
Start: As soon as possible
Duration: 3-4 months
Your location
You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Experience the special flair of Hamburg in your spare time where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets nautic legacy.

Your tasks and responsibilities
- Simulation & optimization - digital twin
- Design of models with CAD
- Setup of simplified FEM models
- Simulation of the models
- Evaluation of simulation results and comparison with analytical results
- 3D Design of parts
- Modelling with simulation software
- Analysis and simulations
- Evaluation and reporting
- Validation with experimental results
- R&T team with day to day topics
Desired skills and qualifications
- Enrolled full-time student in the area of Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent field of study.
- Knowledge of mechanics, processes of modelling and simulation (FEM)
- Languages: English required. German would be a plus
- Pragmatic mindset and ambition for simplicity, fair team player and capability to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment
- "Can do attitude" and hunger. Eager to jump-in and get things done.
