Context
Our client, a leader in the energy and commodities trading sector , is looking for a Junior Business Analyst / Trading Support (H/F) with strong analytical skills and a good command of Python . This role bridges IT and business teams, supporting trading applications and improving business processes.
Responsibilities
- Assist in gathering and analyzing functional requirements from business teams.
- Provide support on trading applications and ensure data integrity.
- Read and interpret Python scripts to analyze data flows and automate tasks.
- Document and optimize business processes.
- Collaborate with IT teams and external vendors for system improvements.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-deployment activities.
Required Skills and Experience
- 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or trading support .
- Strong understanding of Python (script reading, debugging, and basic coding).
- Knowledge of SQL or VBA for data manipulation is a plus.
- Familiarity with trading applications or market data platforms (Bloomberg, Reuters) is a plus.
