Job Summary
Production Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for product quality review associated with the manufacturing process. The role impacts the quality of one's own work and the work of others on the team, executing standard operational and technical tasks typically subject to instructions and work routines. There is latitude to rearrange the sequence to complete tasks based on changing work situations. The specialist has an in‑depth understanding of key business drivers such as First Pass Yield and uses this knowledge to accomplish goals and support integration with other teams. Responsibilities
Ensure that products and services perform according to quality standards and that manufacturing processes are capable and qualified. Broaden knowledge of technical discipline to execute policy and strategy. Provide support roles in specialised technical fields and acquire higher‑level knowledge and skills. Use an understanding of key business drivers to accomplish own work. Comprehend how the work of the own team integrates with other teams and contributes to the area. Exercise autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolve issues that require technical knowledge and judgment within established procedures. Consult more senior team members for issues outside defined instructions or parameters. Possibly lead a junior team and develop strong customer relationships as an interface between customer and GE Vernova. Explain technical information to others. Qualifications
Technical apprenticeship with a degree as Engineer or Technician (FH BSc/HF) in electrical or mechanical engineering. Experience in Production Quality Engineering. Ability to document, plan, market and execute programs. Ideally experience with gas‑insulated substations or high‑voltage switchgear. Computer skills in Office package, SAP, and analytical tools such as Excel and Power BI (data mining, pivot tables, data manipulation). Independent, structured working method and good communication skills. Proficient in German and intermediate in English. Benefits
