To achieve this, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Consultant to join our team.
As a Senior Consultant, you will shape the strategic transformation of leading global companies, addressing pressing challenges within our key industry Financial Services as well as our key domains Cybersecurity, Data & Analytics, and ESG / Climate Tech.
Tasks
Responsibilities
- Create Impact for Our Clients: Work alongside colleagues of all levels and clients worldwide to solve complex problems and drive meaningful change. Conduct research, conduct interviews, analyze data to gain insights, assess problems, and structure solutions. Lead workstreams and small projects, working on initiatives such as IT mergers, strategic transformations, and CIO / CSO reorganizations.
- Client Assignments: Identify information sources, gather and interpret data, execute analysis, and present findings to your ALAIKA team members and client stakeholders. Take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction. Lead and manage small project teams, providing guidance and mentorship to consultants.
- Grow & Take Over Responsibility: Apply and develop your analytical, interpersonal, creative thinking, technology, and business management skills from day one. Take on increasing responsibility, contributing to both client projects and internal initiatives.
- Support Sales Material and Proposal Development: Assist in creating sales materials, developing proposals, and supporting external communications and events.
- ALAIKA School: Learn and collaborate with the best consultants in the technology and financial services areas.
Requirements
Background
- Relevant Experience: 3+ years of full-time professional experience. Ideally, you gained work experience in a high-paced environment such as a top (VC-backed) start-up or a fast-growing company, top strategy consulting, investment banking / venture capital / private equity.
- Background: Outstanding degree in an analytical field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics) from a top-tier university or an outstanding track record outside of university.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in English; additional languages such as German are a plus.
- Entrepreneurial Spirit: Proactive, takes ownership, and prefers to ask for forgiveness rather than permission.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive informed decision-making and optimize processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
