As a Senior DBA / Database Platform Engineer, you play a key role in the availability, performance, and security of data platforms.
In this capacity, you will be involved in:
- The operation and administration of databases in a production environment - Monitoring, maintenance, backups, and restorations - Performance optimisation and incident management - Support for application and infrastructure teams - The deployment of new applications - Participation in the technical evolution of the data ecosystem
You will work in a rich and varied environment including notably:
- Relational databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MariaDB - NoSQL / data services technologies: MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch - Systems: Windows Server, Linux, Unix - Collaborative and delivery tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence - Agile methodology in a structured environment
Profile Sought
- Higher education in computer science (EPF / HES or equivalent) - Minimum 6 years of experience in database or data infrastructure administration - Strong experience in a production environment - Good command of Microsoft and Linux/Unix systems - Comfortable in hybrid environments (DB + systems) - Rigour, autonomy, and a service-oriented mindset - Good communication and team spirit - Fluent French, good level of technical English
