In the Forecasting and Planning product line within ALDI DX, we are working to enable ALDI’s supply planning teams with more integrated supplier communication tools to improve the efficiency of ALDI’s supply chain. While maintaining our compliance with legal requirements, our focus is to expand on our current tools to create a more seamless and responsive supply planning process to empower collaboration with our suppliers.
Your Job
What This Role Looks Like.
- Working in an agile product team as an IT expert in forecasting special buy products with an emphasis on development
- Developing and evaluating technical concepts, software implementations and software architecture
- Reviewing functional and non-functional requirements and designing products
- Assuming responsibility for building, testing and operating products
- Assuming ownership for and implementing quality and performance criteria
- Creating, refining and updating technical product specifications
- Contributing your skills and expertise in software development to the product team to build a successful product
- Closely collaborating with the product team and operations experts
- Staying up to date on the latest developments and tech trends
Your Profile
What You Bring With You.
- Experience in software development and operations processes (e.g. ITIL)
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art integration technologies, architectures and frameworks
- Knowledge of DevOps concepts, methodologies and tools
- Strong technical skills, imagination and creativity
- Knowledge of agile ways of working and collaboration in product teams
- Strong spoken and written communication skills with the ability to liaise with both business and technical stakeholders
Desirable extras.
- ITSM certification (e.g. ITIL Foundation)
- In-depth knowledge of SAP CAR UDF to support the design, development, implementation, configuration and use by country teams
- In-depth knowledge and experience using the SAP CAR UDF system
