Finance Business Partner, Germany

This is what you will do:The Finance Business Partner is responsible for FP&A and accounting activities related to Alexion Pharma Germany in cooperation with the International Headquarters and Financial Shared Services. The role reports into the Head of Finance Germany.You will be responsible for:Strong finance business partnering to stakeholdersSupporting the German team with insightful business, cost, and financial informationPreparing financial reports, monthly planning, and analysisEstablishing long-range plans, budgets, forecasts, and managing local budgetsProviding financial ad-hoc analysis and scenariosSupporting the preparation of business cases from a finance perspectiveCreating and supporting budget, business review, and other presentations for senior managementSupporting month, quarter, and year-end close activities in collaboration with Financial Shared ServicesReviewing and managing the monthly revenue and operating expense accrual processDeveloping, deploying, and monitoring internal procedures in accordance with company policiesDeveloping, managing, and providing KPIs and reports for local and EMEA reviewProviding training, coaching, and guidance to Alexion Pharma Germany employees on finance processesYou will need to have:MBA or Master’s degree in Finance or equivalentAt least 3 years of experience in Finance/Accounting and FP&AExperience with Corporate and Value Added Tax topicsExperience working in international matrix organizationsExperience in the Pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry is a strong plusInterpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and with othersProficiency in Excel and PowerPointGood knowledge of ERP systems, SAP or similarFluency in German and English, both written and oralPreferred qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or business fieldAccounting qualification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter) is a plusAdvanced degrees (MS, PhD, or MBA) are preferredAdditional details:Posted on: 15-Jan-2025Expiry date: 30.07.2025This job is active and accepting applications. #J-18808-Ljbffr
