ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product & Content Marketing Manager to act as the crucial bridge between our product management teams and the broader marketing organization. This role will be instrumental in translating product features and functionalities into compelling content that resonates with our target audiences and drives product adoption. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong understanding of B2B SaaS, excellent communication skills, and a passion for creating impactful marketing materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Expertise & Market Analysis: Develop a deep understanding of our products, their functionalities, and their target market. Analyze the competitive landscape, identify key differentiators and USPs, and assess market potential for each product.
- Audience & Persona Development: Research and define target audience personas, including their roles in the decision-making and buying cycle. Understand their needs, pain points, and preferred communication channels.
- Content Strategy & Creation: Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy for assigned product areas. Create compelling and informative content across various formats, including website copy, blog posts, white papers, case studies, presentations, sales collateral, and social media content.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the primary liaison between product management and marketing teams. Collaborate closely with content marketing, demand generation, sales, and other relevant teams to ensure consistent messaging and effective content distribution.
- Content Enablement: Provide marketing and sales teams with the necessary content and tools to effectively promote and sell the products. Ensure they have access to the latest product information and marketing materials.
- Competitive Positioning: Develop and maintain competitive positioning documents, highlighting our product\’s strengths and advantages over competitors.
- Messaging & Terminology: Translate technical product features into clear, concise, and audience-appropriate language. Ensure consistent use of terminology across all marketing materials.
- Performance Measurement: Track and analyze the performance of content marketing initiatives, using data to identify areas for improvement and optimize future campaigns.
- Market Insights: Gather and analyze market feedback and customer insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
- Localization (German Market Focus): Ensure all German market-facing content is culturally relevant, accurate, and optimized for local audiences.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with specific product marketing methodologies (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing).
- German speaking preferable
