Description

As a Sr. Clinical Specialist field based , you will be the first point of contact for orthodontists in your region of Switzerland and southern Germany (Konstanz, Lindau, Ravensburg, Villingen-Schwenningen, Tuttlingen) and be responsible for clinical education, communication, and support of both external and internal customers. Your mission is to provide customers the best clinical education and help them to become experts on the Invisalign technique, increasing their clinical confidence. You will be traveling around the designated area to visit doctors in their clinical practices to improve their knowledge about the Invisalign system.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Drive growth and build clinical confidence of customers through education on Align\’s innovative clinical solutions and ClinCheck software.
  2. Provide expertise, training, and guidance to marketing and commercial teams and ensure they have sufficient clinical knowledge and information regarding the company\’s products.
  3. Investigate and analyze clinical-related customer inquiries, complaints, and adverse events.
  4. Drive and accelerate clinical confidence for selected groups of doctors via specifically designed educational programs in close coordination with customer support and sales team.
  5. Provide clinical support & education to orthodontists as well as within DSO organizations and universities.
  6. Work cross-functionally to execute & coordinate Align educational programs and support the achievement of predefined business goals.
  7. Contribute independently. May contribute through others on key projects.
  8. Work closely with the sales team to achieve business objectives for the assigned territory.
  9. Independently plan visits, group sessions & face-to-face study clubs with general supervision and alignment with the sales team. Recommend new approaches and seek opportunities to enhance customers\‘ learning curves and digital workflows adoption.
  10. Conduct field visits independently at least 70% of the time.

Skills Knowledge & Expertise

  1. Bachelor\’s degree in dentistry, orthodontics, or other high qualification in the dental area.
  2. Fluent written and verbal communication skills in German; fluency in English.
  3. Willingness to travel up to 70% of your time in the area of Switzerland and southern Germany.
  4. Minimum 2 years of directly related experience in customer relations in medical/dental areas is a must.
  5. Strong oral and written communication skills (presentations and correspondence, influencing skills).
  6. Efficient at managing competing demands including prioritization, responsiveness, and keeping others informed.
  7. Driving license (cat. B).
  8. Advanced MS Office knowledge.
