For an international company in the Zurich area, we are looking for an experienced Senior Accounting Manager with strong technical accounting expertise and a hands-on mindset. The role combines operational accounting responsibility with the opportunity to contribute to the further development of the finance organization, particularly its future SOX/internal control environment. Your Responsibilities Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting Support financial statement preparation and consolidation Contribute to the development of SOX/internal controls Coordinate and support external audits Drive accounting process improvements and automation Support accounting policies, compliance, and technical accounting topics Gradually take on leadership responsibility within the accounting team Your Profile 8+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong hands-on accounting and closing expertise Practical experience with SOX and internal control frameworks Good knowledge of IFRS and/or Swiss GAAP FER Experience with financial statements and ideally consolidation/group accounting Fluent English and at least basic conversational German Experience in an international SME or smaller listed company is an advantage Dynamics 365 Business Central, Power BI, Workiva, and Life Sciences experience are additional advantages We are looking for a technically strong accounting professional who enjoys remaining close to the numbers while taking on increasing responsibility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
