Job Responsibilities:
- Track safety findings and ensure corrective actions are completed on time.
- Coordinate the site HSE action plan and report progress to management.
- Maintain and review risk assessments with relevant departments.
- Support incident investigations and ensure effective follow-up actions.
- Maintain chemical and environmental documentation.
- Continuously improve workplace safety standards and employee engagement.
- Coordinate continuous improvement meetings and track cost savings.
- Coordinate a pipeline of improvement projects focused on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
- Support process, product, and material optimization projects.
- Analyze operational and ERP data to improve performance transparency.
- Initiate tests and implement improvements to increase quality, productivity, and profitability.
- Support CAPEX projects and maintain the ALPS tracker, ensuring expected benefits, savings, and project results are accurately tracked and reported.
- Improve process data quality and availability.
- Support digitalization of production data collection systems.
- Develop practical digital tools and solutions for production and planning processes.
- Identify opportunities for automation and AI-supported improvements.
- Ensure digital solutions comply with company data security standards.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and ensure actions are completed.
- Prepare monthly reports on safety, improvement projects, risks, and savings.
- Help embed HSE, CI, and digital improvement activities into daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, HSE, or continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of German health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Experience with Lean, problem-solving, and improvement projects.
- Strong analytical and data management skills, including Excel and ERP systems.
- Fluent German and good English skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development in Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Continuous Improvement (CI) tools and methodologies.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Risk Management, Safety, Engineering, Material Science, Toxicology, Environmental Law) / textile master craftman or textile technican
