Senior Technical Consultant - M365 Services (m / w / d)

Our client is an international banking house based in Düsseldorf. We are currently looking for a permanent position for a:

• Maintenance and further development of the self-developed customer master data system of our securities processing platform over the entire product life cycle
• Ensuring trouble-free operation (incident and problem management)
• Definition of requirements for the operation of the production and test environments and coordination of implementation by the data centre
• Independent and autonomous collaboration in projects with national and international teams
• Achieving and implementing an optimal service orientation towards our business process outsourcing clients in the area of securities processing
• ITIL-compliant documentation, definition and design of the processes of our application landscape in compliance with the guidelines of requirements, test, release and change management

Your profile

• Successfully completed university or technical college studies, ideally in the fields of computer science or industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification
• Sound professional experience in programming batch and/or CICS applications in the IBM mainframe environment (COBOL programming language)
• Good knowledge of database, transaction and communication systems in the IBM mainframe environment (z/OS, DB2, IWS, JCL); knowledge of CICS and MQSeries desirable
• Strong technical understanding of distributed application landscapes and system integration
• Knowledge of customer master data processing desirable
• Strong analytical thinking skills, ability to grasp things quickly, solution-oriented approach
• Independent and communicative personality with organisational skills and a strong customer and service orientation towards external and internal contacts
• Ideally experience in working with international teams
• Business fluent in English and basic knowledge of German (~B1)
