Our client, a leading transportation organization, is hiring an experiencedGerman-speaking ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Business Analyston a contract basis in Austria. The successful candidate will connect business stakeholders with the ServiceNow platform, translating business requirements into effective SPM solutions and clearly demonstrating their value across the business.
Responsibilities
Serve as the Business Analyst and subject matter expert for ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
Engage with business and technology stakeholders to understand portfolio, investment, demand, project and strategic planning requirements.
Analyze business processes and identify opportunities to use ServiceNow SPM's out-of-the-box functionality.
Translate business requirements into practical, scalable SPM solutions while minimizing unnecessary customization.
Define and optimize SPM processes, workflows and ways of working.
Lead stakeholder workshops, clearly communicating SPM capabilities, benefits and best practices.
Promote the value of ServiceNow SPM, building stakeholder buy-in and supporting adoption across the organization.
Challenge requirements constructively and demonstrate how existing ServiceNow functionality can address business needs.
Collaborate with product owners, architects and technical teams to develop clear user stories, acceptance criteria and functional documentation.
Support backlog prioritization and drive continuous improvement of the SPM platform and associated business processes.
Skillset
Fluency in German is mandatory.
Strong hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Business Analyst, with significant expertise in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM).
ServiceNow SPM certification or other relevant ServiceNow certifications are highly desirable.
In-depth knowledge of ServiceNow SPM's out-of-the-box functionality and capabilities.
Experience across Demand Management, Project Portfolio Management, Investment Planning, Portfolio Planning and Strategic Planning.
Proven ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable ServiceNow SPM solutions.
Strong stakeholder management, workshop facilitation and requirements-gathering skills.
Ability to clearly communicate and promote the value of SPM to business and technology stakeholders.
A pragmatic approach to solution design, prioritising out-of-the-box functionality over unnecessary customisation.
Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills.
