Job Description: Data Center Logistic Assistant
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Center Logistic Assistant to join our team at a leading global technology company. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing various warehousing tasks in a dynamic data center environment. Your key responsibilities will include managing inventory, handling incoming and outgoing deliveries, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform assigned tasks independently, with a focus on efficiency and accuracy during high-volume work periods.
- Coordinate, prepare, and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries, including purchase order (PO) receiving and Rack Movement Supervisor (RMS) activities.
- Ensure accurate physical inventory tracking, staging, and material movement, including shipping/receiving and inventory management according to established processes.
- Conduct inventory cycle audits, correct data discrepancies, and participate in Data Center regulatory compliance audits.
- Oversee the proper destruction of data-bearing devices (DBD) in line with documented procedures and runbooks.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and adhere to safety and compliance standards.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in warehouse/supply chain management, inventory management, or a related field, preferably within an information technology (IT) environment.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Previous data center experience is a plus.
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, core business hours between 7AM and 7PM.
