The team is responsible for supporting and enhancing enterprise reference data systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, and management to deliver scalable and reliable solutions while ensuring business requirements are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Tasks & Responsibilities
Ensure business‑critical Static and Reference Data applications meet and exceed service expectations.
Collaborate with business teams to develop and maintain operational procedures for supported applications.
Business Process Analysis
Analyse and design business processes related to GoldenSource reference and market data solutions.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications using industry best practices.
Drive enhancements to business applications and supporting processes.
Support application and infrastructure upgrades, maintenance, and optimisation activities.
Project Delivery
Contribute to strategic projects, ensuring project milestones, deliverables, and budget objectives are achieved.
Work closely with project managers and stakeholders to resolve issues and implement corrective measures when required.
Change Management
Manage application changes in accordance with organisational change management processes.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks while maintaining stakeholder communication.
User Acceptance Testing
Develop and support test strategies and test plans.
Coordinate and support user acceptance testing activities for data management initiatives.
Communication & Coordination
Promote strong collaboration between technology teams, business users, and supporting functions.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the application lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience supporting business‑critical applications within a banking or financial services environment.
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on GoldenSource customisation experience, including development and scripting using
Java, SQL, PowerShell, and/or Python .
Strong technical expertise in
Linux
and
Oracle .
Demonstrated experience delivering large‑scale, business‑critical projects successfully.
Experience with source control management, automated testing, and deployment practices.
Good understanding of financial instruments, reference data, and data management concepts.
Knowledge of structured data formats such as
XML
and
JSON .
Preferred Skills
Experience supporting user acceptance testing and compliance‑related documentation.
Familiarity with reconciliation processes, data governance, and data quality controls.
Exposure to
Podman ,
Kubernetes , and microservices‑based architectures.
University degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Knowledge of
Kafka , CI/CD pipelines, and automation tooling.
