Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Analysis:
• Develop and execute the local financial strategy in line with the company's goals.
• Analyze financial trends, prepare forecasts, and provide insights to influence decision-making.
Budgeting & Reporting:
• Oversee the budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes.
• Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to local management and global headquarters.
Compliance & Regulation:
• Ensure compliance with Italian financial regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
• Liaise with external auditors and regulators, managing audits and inspections as required.
Team Leadership & Development:
• Lead and mentor the local finance team, promoting a culture of excellence.
• Provide ongoing training and development to enhance skills and foster collaboration.
Manage local finance processes including outsourcing relationships:
• Ensure quality and delivery of local finance processes, including premium accounting, invoicing, etc.
• Work closely with key service providers, specifically Allianz SpA, to ensure alignment of service requirements and high quality delivery
Local market analysis:
• Maintain an understanding of the local property & casualty insurance market and industry trends.
• Provide strategic financial recommendations based on local market insights.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master’s degree or MBA would be a plus.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role; experience in the insurance industry is a plus.
• Proficient in Italian financial regulations and accounting standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills in both Italian and English.
• Proficiency in using financial software and tools.
