Then join us now as Compliance Manager (f/m/d) in Frankfurt within the Global Investment Advisory Compliance (IAC) team. The Global Investment Advisory Compliance (IAC) team is responsible for implementing and executing a Global compliance program (advisory, training, monitoring, and reporting) for the company’s investment related activities (e.g., research, portfolio management, trading, pricing) in the US, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. The IAC team works in close collaboration on harmonizing policies, training, monitoring, and resolving cross-border issues related to the company’s investment activities in traditional assets (equities, fixed income, derivatives, fx, multi-asset.) The IAC team forms a key part of the Global Compliance function, working with Legal, Risk and other support function colleagues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, client needs and industry standards.
What you will do
Contribute to ensure that all AllianzGI’ s activities satisfy all regulatory requirements within the IAC area, as well, as any other applicable requirementsCreate, implement, and maintain policies, procedures and controls which are appropriately designed to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations as well as internal policiesProvide guidance, advice and training to staff members related to IAC mattersParticipate in company projects, NBAs and NPIs, and advise on IAC related matters and impactsParticipate in and monitor the implementation of the relevant compliance programme for IACPerform compliance monitoring activities within IAC area as neededPerform outsourcing controlling activities within IAC area as neededLead or participate in internal compliance reviews or projectsPrepare and present (regularly and ad hoc, where needed) clear and concise compliance reports to senior management related to IAC mattersUndertake tasks as directed related to audits, reviews, and examinations related to IAC mattersReview and analyse new regulatory developments and maintain oversight of developments impacting business activities related to IAC mattersWhat you bring
University degree in law, business management or similarApproximately, 5-7+ years’ experience in the financial industry with a focus in asset management, namely in governance functions such as Legal & Compliance, Risk Management and/or Internal Audit, predominantly focused on portfolio management and trading compliance matters such as best execution and market abuse A sound understanding of the current issues affecting the financial services and asset management industry, combined with sound knowledge of the operational and regulatory frameworks from a Compliance perspective Working knowledge of Bloomberg Experience interpreting and implementing lessons learned from regulatory sanctions Diligent and attention to detail, with strong analytical skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to take initiative, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Team player and ability to build positive relationships across the business internally and externally and commitment to contributing to a strong compliance culture within the firm Ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment, understand complex issues quickly, to explain them clearly and concisely, and propose practical solutions Experience in a multi-cultural work environment in which the candidate was a member of a team where his/her team members and/or manager were located
