Test Manager (m/f/d) – Camera Development

Your tasks
- Managing and coordinating testing activities in development projects
- Planning resources, deadlines and priorities in close collaboration with development, product management and quality assurance
- Monitoring project progress and ensuring that testing activities are carried out on schedule
- Planning, carrying out and documenting tests for system verification and product validation of camera prototypes and camera accessories
- Assessing and ensuring transparency regarding the quality status of hardware and software systems during the development process
- Conducting reviews of requirements and specification documents
- Creating test cases and test descriptions for manual and automated tests
- Analysing, documenting and reporting test results
- Assisting with the design, documentation and set-up of new test systems
- Maintaining test systems and test laboratories
- Calibrating and managing measuring and testing equipmentContributing to the continuous improvement of test methods, test processes and test infrastructures
Your profile
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Several years’ professional experience in the verification and validation of hardware and software products, ideally in an industrial environment compliant with ISO 9001
- In-depth knowledge of analogue and digital measurement technology, as well as reliability and certification testing of electronic products
- Experience in setting up and operating Windows- and Linux-based test systems
- Knowledge of test automation using Python
- Experience in the field of industrial image processing systems
- Knowledge of established testing and test management methods, ideally with ISTQB certification
- Experience in project and quality management
- Very good written and spoken German and English
- A structured, independent and process-oriented approach to work
- Strong analytical skills and a high level of quality awareness
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Team-oriented, strong communication skills and the ability to take the initiative
- Enjoy working in an international and dynamic environment
