This role is considered ((custWorkplaceType)).OverviewWe are offering an exciting opportunity for a General Management Intern to join our team in Germany and support the General Manager across a broad range of strategic and operational activities. This internship provides valuable exposure to how a commercial organization operates, allowing the intern to contribute to meaningful projects that support the success of the German affiliate.Throughout the assignment, you will gain hands-on experience in areas such as communications, strategic planning, data analysis, and business operations. Working closely with experienced professionals and cross-functional teams, you will develop practical skills and build a solid understanding of key general management functions in a real-world business environment.This is a 3 to 6-month hybrid internship, based in our Munich office, offering an excellent learning platform for candidates looking to deepen their business and analytical capabilities within a dynamic and collaborative setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation, creation, updating, and coordination of internal reportingContribute to the development and implementation of business processes and proceduresConduct data analysis and generate reports to support data-driven business decision-makingAssist in the preparation of educational materials and presentationsParticipate in meetings to observe cross‑functional collaboration and support operational follow‑up as needed Gain insight into sales management by working with the KAM team, Area Sales Managers, and the Senior Sales Director on relevant activitiesBuild experience in performing data quality routines and alignment between the different systems Help organize and set up large meetings, including finalizing agendas, sending invitations, and liaising with cross-functional teamsQualificationsOngoing studies (master\’s degree) in sciencesPrevious work experience preferredAbility and willingness to proactively learn and adapt to new situationsStrong analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPronounced resilience, positive and solution focused thinking and actingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), knowledge of CRM systems (e.g. Veeva CRM) preferredExcellent written and verbal communication in German (preferred) and English (mandatory)About Alnylam: Alnylam Pharmaceuticals (Nasdaq: ALNY) has led the translation of RNA interference (RNAi) into a whole new class of innovative medicines with the potential to transform the lives of people afflicted with rare and more prevalent diseases.
