About the Position:
The University of Klagenfurt is pleased to announce an open position at the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Technical Sciences. This role starts as soon as possible and offers a unique opportunity to work in a successful research environment with a team of experienced professors.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
As a university assistant and project researcher, you will be embedded in the Cluster of Excellence (CoE) \“Bilateral AI\“. Your tasks will include:
• Autonomous scientific work, including publishing research articles in the field of artificial intelligence.
• Conducting theoretical and practical (empirical) research.
• Collaborating with industry partners.
• Contributing to organisational and administrative tasks.
• Participating in public relations activities.
Prerequisites for the Appointment:
The successful candidate should hold a Master\’s degree in computer science or a related field. A solid background in one or more of the following fields is required: symbolic artificial intelligence, such as logic programming, constraint programming, deep learning, or reinforcement learning. Fluency in English is also necessary. Additional desired qualifications include experience with Python, answer set or constraint programming tools, and knowledge of deep learning frameworks.
