Data Support Analyst

We are currently supporting a major logistics firm that needs help organizing its reporting structures and ensuring data integrity across several global divisions. As a Data Support Analyst, you will play a practical part in this project by helping our senior consultants maintain the accuracy of the data flowing into their new systems. This is a permanent, full time position that is fully remote, allowing you to work from your own professional setup while learning how large scale enterprise systems are actually built and maintained.
The role

The Data Support Analyst exists to help us provide a single source of truth that finance teams can trust every morning. You will not be expected to manage the whole project, but you will be responsible for the essential tasks that ensure our configurations work as intended. This involves a lot of data validation, checking one system against another, and helping to write the documentation that allows our clients to remain independent once we finish a project.
Because we often work with fixed price quotes, efficiency and accuracy are important. You will spend your time digging into spreadsheets and database exports to find why a number in a dashboard does not match the source. You will help clean data before it is loaded into new tools and assist in creating the configuration guides that explain how we set everything up. This is a foundational role where you will see exactly how messy corporate data gets organized into useful business intelligence.
What you will do

• Review large datasets from the logistics firm to identify duplicates, missing values, or formatting errors.
• Compare reports from legacy systems against our new Oracle or SAP configurations to verify accuracy.
• Help maintain the data dictionary and single source of truth documentation for the client.
• Assist senior consultants in drafting clear, plain spoken configuration guides and training manuals.
• Update project tracking logs to ensure all data discrepancies are addressed before the final handover.
• Format financial reports and dashboards to ensure they are clean and easy for finance teams to read.
• Participate in remote team meetings to discuss data findings and project progress.
• Support the collection of requirements from client teams by taking detailed notes and organizing documentation.

What we need from you

• Basic familiarity with Microsoft Excel, including the ability to use lookups and pivot tables to compare data.
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to double check your work for small errors.
• An interest in how businesses use data for financial planning and reporting.
• Logical thinking skills to help figure out why data might look incorrect.
• Clear writing skills to help produce documentation that a client can actually understand.
• The ability to work independently in a fully remote setting and manage your daily tasks effectively.
• A cooperative attitude and a willingness to learn from senior consultants with years of experience.
• Reliable internet access and a professional approach to remote communication.
