Junior AI Support Specialist

Alpine Business Consulting is a specialized team that steps in when enterprise performance management and reporting systems fail to deliver. Many companies invest heavily in complex planning tools only to find that the implementation was rushed, leaving finance teams with data that does not match and processes that take far too long. We fix these systems by focusing on proper configuration and clean data. We are currently working with a partner in the global logistics sector to help them maintain and support their internal AI reporting tools. This is a permanent, full-time role that is conducted fully remote.
About the role
In this position, you will work alongside our senior consultants to support a major logistics company as they use new AI-driven tools for their business reporting. As a Junior AI Support Specialist, you will help ensure that the system remains a single source of truth for the client. This is not a role about chasing hype: it is about the practical, day-to-day work of making sure software works as intended. You will help triage technical issues, clear up user confusion, and ensure that the configuration matches the documentation we provide. Being fully remote, you will manage your own tasks while staying in close contact with the rest of the consulting team.
What you will be doing
Working on an enterprise-scale project means there is always a variety of tasks to handle. Your typical week will involve:

• Responding to support tickets from the logistics team regarding AI report outputs and data discrepancies.
• Testing system updates to ensure that new configurations do not break existing reporting structures.
• Maintaining clear and detailed documentation that explains how users should interact with the AI tools.
• Assisting with basic data cleaning and verification tasks to ensure the high quality of inputs.
• Collaborating with senior consultants to help prepare client handover materials.
• Monitoring system performance logs to identify recurring issues before they impact the finance team.
• Participating in remote team meetings to discuss project progress and troubleshoot complex configurations.

What we need from you
This is an entry-level position, so we are looking for potential and a solid work ethic rather than a long list of previous jobs. We value the following traits and skills:

• A bachelor's degree in a business, finance, or technical field, or equivalent experience from internships or projects.
• Familiarity with spreadsheet software and a basic understanding of how databases work.
• Strong writing skills with the ability to explain technical steps in plain English.
• A logical approach to solving problems: you should enjoy figure out why a number does not look right.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting while keeping the team updated on your progress.
• Comfort with learning new enterprise software tools through hands-on practice.
• Basic knowledge of how AI models use data to generate business insights.
