About Alpine Business Consulting
Alpine Business Consulting is a specialized team that steps in when enterprise performance management and reporting systems fail to deliver. Many companies invest heavily in complex planning tools only to find that the implementation was rushed or poorly executed. This often leads to finance teams struggling with inconsistent numbers and month-end closes that take far too long. We fix these issues by configuring systems correctly or building them from the ground up.
Our consultants have extensive experience with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics stacks. We focus on transparency, predictability, and providing a single source of truth that finance teams can rely on every day. We prioritize documentation and clear training so that once our work is done, the client can manage their own system reliably.
The role
We are looking for a Junior Scrum Master to support our consulting teams. This is a full-time, permanent position that is fully remote. You will be helping our consultants stay organized as we work with a German-based financial services firm to overhaul their reporting and performance management systems. Because this client relies on precise financial data, our project flow must be clear and predictable.
As this is an entry-level role, you will work closely with our senior team members to learn how Agile methodologies are applied in a specialized consulting environment. You will not be expected to manage the entire process alone from the start, but you will be responsible for the administrative and organizational health of the project cycles.
What you will be doing
This is a paid position, and the compensation is competitive for an entry-level role in the consulting sector. You will have the opportunity to work 100 percent remotely, giving you flexibility in how you manage your day. Working at Alpine Business Consulting means you will be surrounded by senior professionals who value high-quality work and clear documentation over corporate buzzwords. You will gain direct experience in how enterprise-level financial systems are fixed and maintained, providing a strong foundation for a career in project management or consulting.
Working at Alpine Business Consulting
Our culture is built on transparency and getting the job done right the first time. We avoid the typical fluff found in many consulting firms and focus on providing clients with a system that actually works. Because we often provide fixed-price quotes, we value efficiency and predictability in our project cycles. You will find that we value your input and your ability to keep the team moving toward a successful handover. We believe in providing the training and support our junior staff need to understand the nuances of EPM and reporting, ensuring that every project results in a single source of truth for our clients.
