We are looking for a Junior UI Engineer to help us build these interfaces. What you will be doing
- Building and styling web components using modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Assisting in the development of data visualization tools and interactive dashboards for financial analysts.
- Ensuring that all user interfaces are responsive and work correctly across different browsers.
- Writing clear, concise documentation for both internal teams and client handovers.
- Participating in code reviews to learn best practices and maintain high standards of quality.
- Testing interface components to identify and fix bugs before they reach the client teams.
- Working with senior consultants to understand how finance professionals interact with data.
- Updating existing UI components based on user feedback and new reporting requirements.
- Strong fundamental knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, including layouts and styling.
- A basic understanding of JavaScript and an interest in learning how it applies to data-heavy applications.
- Familiarity with at least one modern front-end library or framework, such as React or Vue, through coursework or personal projects.
- A high level of attention to detail: you notice when a margin is off by a few pixels or a color is inconsistent.
- Excellent written communication skills, especially the ability to explain technical concepts in plain English.
- A self-directed approach to learning and problem solving in a fully remote environment.
- An interest in financial data and a desire to understand how enterprise systems function.
