Alpine Business Consulting is a team of specialists who fix enterprise performance management and reporting systems. Often, we find that companies have invested significant capital into complex planning tools only to have the implementation fall short. This results in finance teams manually reconciling numbers or dealing with long month end close cycles. We provide the technical configuration and structural organization needed to make these systems reliable again.
Currently, we are supporting a logistics firm with a major overhaul of their reporting architecture. Our work for this client focuses on establishing a single source of truth for their data, ensuring that their daily operations and financial reports are aligned and predictable. As a Project Management Associate, you will work closely with our senior consultants to keep this engagement on track and well documented.
About Alpine Business Consulting
We do not believe in vague promises or corporate jargon. Our reputation is built on stepping into messy situations and leaving behind a system that actually works. We prioritize fixed price quotes and clear documentation over the typical consultancy model where junior staff learn on the client dime. Instead, our junior associates provide essential support to senior experts who have years of experience with Oracle EPM, SAP BPC, and modern analytics stacks.
Our goal is always a successful handover. We want our clients to be independent, which means we spend a lot of time on configuration guides and training materials. Every project we take on is fully remote, allowing us to gather the best people regardless of where they are located. We value transparency, predictability, and clean data above all else.
About the role
This is a permanent, full time position for someone starting their career in project management or business consulting. As a Project Management Associate, you help translate technical requirements into organized tasks. This role is fully remote, so you must be comfortable managing your own schedule and communicating through digital tools.
You will not be expected to be a technical expert on day one. Instead, you will act as the organizational glue for our consulting teams. You will track deadlines, update project logs, and ensure that the logistics firm we are currently serving receives the high level of service Alpine is known for. This role is a paid position with a salary that is competitive for the entry level market.
What you will do
Working here means choosing a path of technical excellence and honesty. We do not use client engagements as training grounds: we use them as opportunities to provide real solutions. You will be mentored by professionals who have spent decades in the field and who value your contribution to keeping projects organized. Because we are a fully remote company, we focus on results rather than hours spent at a desk. We provide the structure and support you need to learn the realities of business consulting while helping our clients achieve a single source of truth for their reporting.
