Currently, we are supporting a logistics firm with a major overhaul of their reporting architecture. Our work for this client focuses on establishing a single source of truth for their data, ensuring that their daily operations and financial reports are aligned and predictable. As a Project Management Associate, you will work closely with our senior consultants to keep this engagement on track and well documented.

About the role
This is a permanent, full time position for someone starting their career in project management or business consulting. As a Project Management Associate, you help translate technical requirements into organized tasks. This role is fully remote, so you must be comfortable managing your own schedule and communicating through digital tools.
You will not be expected to be a technical expert on day one. Instead, you will act as the organizational glue for our consulting teams. You will track deadlines, update project logs, and ensure that the logistics firm we are currently serving receives the high level of service Alpine is known for. This role is a paid position with a salary that is competitive for the entry level market.
What you will do

• Monitor project timelines and alert senior consultants when tasks are falling behind schedule.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure all configuration guides are updated and stored correctly.
• Draft status reports for the client that focus on facts and progress rather than fluff.
• Coordinate internal meetings and ensure that action items are recorded and distributed.
• Assist in the collection of clean data from client sources to support our reporting builds.
• Organize the handover materials that allow the logistics firm to manage their systems independently.
• Track budget usage and project milestones to ensure we remain within our fixed price agreements.
• Update internal databases with lessons learned from each implementation to improve our future work.

What we are looking for

• A completed undergraduate degree in business, communications, management, or a related field.
• A high level of personal organization and the ability to track multiple moving parts at once.
• Clear, direct writing skills that prioritize brevity and accuracy.
• Comfort using project management software and basic spreadsheet tools for data tracking.
• The discipline to work effectively in a fully remote environment without constant supervision.
• An interest in how businesses use data to make financial and operational decisions.
