For our client, a leading international energy company headquartered in Zurich with a strong presence across the DACH region, we are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Legal Counsel. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and forward‑thinking organization at the forefront of the energy sector, offering exposure to a broad range of legal topics within an international and fast‑evolving business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibility for commercial and contract‑related matters, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of agreements (e.g. supplier, service, and customer contracts), as well as advising business stakeholders on contractual risks and obligations

Handling corporate and governance topics, including support with board matters, preparation of resolutions, maintenance of corporate documentation, and ensuring adherence to internal governance standards and applicable legal requirements

Supporting and further developing compliance frameworks, particularly in the areas of KYC, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, including the preparation and delivery of trainings for business teams to ensure awareness and adherence

Acting as a key legal contact for internal stakeholders, providing pragmatic and business‑oriented advice across day‑to‑day operations

Monitoring relevant legal and regulatory developments and translating them into actionable guidance for the organization

Experience & Qualifications:

Swiss law background (MLaw required)

Around 2 years of relevant experience (including internships and/or post‑qualification experience)

Pragmatic, hands‑on mindset, with the ability to provide practical and business‑oriented legal solutions
