Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and negotiate a range of financial market documentation, including master agreements and transaction‑specific contractual arrangements.
Identify, assess, and help manage legal, regulatory, and operational risks, while contributing to internal policies, governance frameworks, and control processes.
Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Finance, and front‑office/business teams on regulatory implementation, strategic initiatives, and cross‑functional projects.
Monitor relevant regulatory and market developments, engage with industry working groups where appropriate, and provide updates and analysis to senior stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
Swiss‑qualified lawyer; US or UK qualification preferred.
6+ years’ experience in securities lending, repo and collateral transactions within a financial institution or leading law firm.
Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
Experience advising on cross‑border legal and regulatory matters; FINMA knowledge is a plus.
Proven ability to engage senior stakeholders and manage complex legal projects.
