Could you be the full-time Digital Applications Analyst (f/m/d) based at any Alstom location in the Central and Northern Europe Region? We’re looking for someone to join our team.
Your Future Role
Ernst-Reuter-Platz 6, in the heart of Berlin, is home to Alstom\’s Central and Northern Europe regional headquarters. Up to 500 colleagues of more than 40 nationalities work here, focusing on project management, business development, and regional strategy, with a special emphasis on rail digitalization. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Robert Heuser and work alongside a dedicated and enthusiastic team.

In this role, you will be responsible for introducing and managing new Power BI reports and optimizing/updating existing ones, as well as SharePoint sites and PowerApps applications utilized across the RSC teams. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, stakeholder engagement, and a data-driven mindset to enhance operational efficiency and data visualization capabilities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintain and enhance Power BI reports: Ensure reports are accurate, relevant, and aligned with evolving business needs, driven by user feedback.
- Manage SharePoint sites: Keep sites well-organized, user-friendly, and support collaboration across teams.
- Develop PowerApps solutions: Design and manage applications that simplify workflows and automate tasks to increase productivity.
- Identify improvement opportunities: Review tools and solutions regularly to find areas for enhancement and apply best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders: Understand needs, gather requirements, and co-create solutions.
- Monitor KPIs: Set up and track metrics to measure impact and guide improvements.
- Promote innovation: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and openness to new ideas.
- Support team members: Provide training and guidance on Power BI, SharePoint, and PowerApps.
- Analyze data: Uncover trends and insights, and work with stakeholders to translate data into actions.
- Document work: Keep records and share knowledge to ensure continuity and future development.
All About You
We value passion and attitude over experience. While you may not have all skills listed, the following will help you succeed:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Data Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI, SharePoint, and PowerApps.
- Strong data analysis skills and a data scientist mindset.
- Excellent communication skills in English; intermediate German is a plus.
- Effective team player with the ability to work independently.
- Experience in project management and stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in scheduling tools like MS Project or Primavera.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and advanced Excel skills.
- Basic understanding of railway industry products and contractual obligations.
- Proactive, curious, eager to learn, and solution-oriented.
