Could you be the full-time Supply Chain Coordinator in Mannheim we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and forward-thinking teammates.

You'll ensure the alignment and synchronization of supply chain processes with industrial requirements. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as material planning, logistics, and supplier management teams), identify risks in supplier capacity, and drive key activities to meet quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) objectives defined during the tender phase—and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of managing supplier-specific conditions, ensuring master data accuracy in SAP, and coordinating planning changes, but also supporting the material management team with supplier-related challenges.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Supporting supply chain activities to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Ensuring supplier deliveries, logistics flows, and stock policies align with defined targets
  • Identifying and addressing supplier capacity risks ahead of business awards
  • Ensuring business awards adhere to logistics specifications and TCO approaches
  • Contributing to gate reviews related to supply chain deliverables (DFQ).
  • Preparing and contributing to P&FM and MPS meetings
  • Coordinating supply chain impacts due to planning changes, supplier modifications, or technical adjustments
  • Providing implementation timelines for changes to avoid overstocking
  • Supporting the organization in resolving critical supplier delivery issues
  • Monitoring material availability and anticipating potential shortages
  • Ensuring material maturity in alignment with project goals

All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
  • Experience or understanding of supplier management and logistics flows
  • Knowledge of SAP and material planning systems
  • Familiarity with QCD principles and TCO approaches
  • A certification in supply chain management or logistics would be an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Fluent in English, german is a plus

Things you’ll enjoy Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

    • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
    • Work with new security standards for rail signalling

    • Contribute to innovative projects
    • Utilise our dynamic and inclusive working environment

You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
