Purpose of the job :
- Development of electronics solutions in the field of repair, overhaul and modernization of vehicle components from existing fleets.
- Specialist of electronics and control units.
Missions:
- Evaluate and implement replacements due to obsolescence.
- Technical support for the production and testing team due to documentation and processes for maintenance, overhaul and repair orders.
- Preparation and development of test procedures for electrical testing.
- Failure analysis and customer support for different applications.
- Preparation of documents for third-party applications.
- Development of special testing procedures and measurements for control units.
- Support and solve problems with internal suppliers and EMS.
Competences and skills:
- Several years of professional experience.
- Fluent in German, good written and spoken English.
- Willingness to travel (priority DACH Region).
- Knowledge in the field of:
- Controls and electronics.
- Programming of control units.
- Current standards (VDE, EN, DIN) for railway.
- Measurement equipment.
- PDM and ERP.
- Railway technology, especially controls (Traction, Auxiliary) and vehicle control units.
- Hardware PCBs.
