Alstom in Germany is one of the major suppliers of German rail infrastructure. The company focuses on manufacturing rail vehicles for local rail transport: trams and suburban railways, commuter trains and regional trains. Alstom is the only manufacturer of railway technology in Germany to offer maintenance, service and modernization for all mass transit trains and their components for the series of all manufacturers as well as information systems. We are looking for a Special Process Expert/Specialist Torque Tightening (m/f/d) to join the PME department at our site Salzgitter .
The Position:
- Control of the Torque Tightening activities in the production according to IND-PRO-002
- Control of the torque tightening activities in the production
- Performing of external audits at suppliers also in foreign countries regardingtorque tightening
- Checking and releasing of design documents regarding riveting and torque tightening
- Participation in concurrent engineering regarding riveting and torque tightening
- Support of other departments regarding riveting and torque tightening issues
Your Profile:
- Qualification as mechanical engineer (Bachelor, Master or Dipl.-Ing.)
- Intensive knowledge of different torque tightening and riveting processes
- Good knowledge of torque tightening processes
- Intensive knowledge of German and English language orally and writing
- Intensive knowledge of MS Office applications
- Readiness for travelling (also in foreign countries)
- Readiness for further trainings and for improving of English language skills
