We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:
Degree or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
Initial practical experience in accounting, finance, or audit (internships or previous assignments are an advantage)
Interest in general accounting, month-end closing, balance sheet and P&L reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets, and payroll-related accounting
Strong interest in taxation and willingness to develop knowledge of Austrian accounting and tax requirements (VAT, corporate tax)
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of SAP or another ERP system is an advantage
Fluent in English; German knowledge is an advantage but not mandatory
Proactive, structured, and reliable, with a willingness to learn and take ownership
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with internal stakeholders
International mindset and ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
