Technical Sales Manager Paper Mills EMEA (m/f/d)

Exciting opportunities await you – in this position, your aim is the establishment of ACTEGA’s barrier solutions among paper manufacturers. To this end, you will create a network with partners and suppliers, e.g. equipment manufacturers and institutes, and win new customers. You will also support the acquisition and management of projects in sustainable packaging solutions. The following tasks will be part of your area of responsibility:

• Supporting the elaboration of the business and development strategy in functional coatings
• Managing barrier projects with paper mill customers
• Attending trade fairs, conferences, and meetings to grow and expand your network
• Processing technical inquiries as well as issuing product and system recommendations
• Attending customers’ coating tests and problems on-site
• Adapting products to specific customer requirements in coordination with Development and Applications Engineering

Anforderungen

With this profile, you convince us – the basic requirement for this position is a degree in paper technology, paper engineering, paper manufacturing or an equivalent training, together with a keen interest in new topics and tasks in coating technology and the packaging industry. Besides your willingness to travel (ca. 30 to 40%), the following qualifications are important for us:

• Several years of experience in the paper industry, paper and fiber technology or supplier industry
• Familiarity with the chemical principles of paper manufacturing and surface treatment / functionalization as well as a regulatory background
• Knowledge of technical processes in the production and application of finishes and coatings as well as paper manufacturing
• Expertise in the use of functional coatings in marketable application processes in online applications, ideally also in printing and coating processes
• Excellent, business fluent English and German in speech and writing as well as good communication and integration skills
• Willingness to work on-site in Bremen
• Strong self-initiative and assertiveness
• Joy in teamwork, stress resistance and flexibility
• MS Office and SAP competency
