We are looking for an experienced
Senior Test Analyst
to lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities for strategic customer projects within the banking and financial services sector. The role focuses on core banking platforms and digital applications, requiring strong client-facing capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in complex and fast-paced project environments.
Responsibilities
Define and maintain the overall Test Strategy, Test Policy, and Test Plan.
Estimate testing effort and ensure adequate resource allocation throughout the testing lifecycle.
Monitor and control testing activities against budget, timelines, and quality objectives.
Provide regular progress reporting to both internal management and clients.
Manage client relationships through effective communication and stakeholder engagement.
Oversee defect management processes, including tracking, reporting, and resolution follow‑up.
Design, update, and execute functional and business test scenarios and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
Ensure test assets are reusable and aligned with project standards.
Manage test environments, including baseline definition, maintenance, and readiness assessments.
Administer testing and defect-tracking tools, ensuring accurate reporting on requirements coverage and testing metrics.
Analyze, document, and evaluate test results, identifying root causes and areas for improvement.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing methodologies, processes, and best practices.
Qualifications
Strong experience in Software Testing and Test Management methodologies.
Solid background in-depth knowledge of banking processes across all business domains.
Functional knowledge of Core Banking solutions.
Proven experience managing testing activities across the full Software Testing Lifecycle (STLC).
Hands‑on experience with Micro Focus QC/ALM.
Good knowledge of JIRA.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving capabilities.
Professional working proficiency in English.
Nice to have
ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing certification.
Knowledge of web and mobile application testing.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Familiarity with Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Testing, TDD, BDD, and API Testing.
Previous experience in customer‑facing consulting or delivery roles within the banking sector.
