At ALTEN a Business Manager is an “entrepreneur”, building up his/her own business unit from scratch. Your success will be measured in your ability to develop the business, build up a team of consultants, and keep growing up over the years, positioning at ALTEN as a key consulting partner on your market.
Concretely, you will have to perform the following:
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Creating new business opportunities by prospecting new customers and thinking out of the box
- Gathering new business leads at actual customers
- Participating in development of business offers
- Supporting the company to meet its commercial objectives
- “Farming” customer relationships with your winning way
- Supporting our clients in demanding projects through several service offering
- Analysing and reporting your business activities
RECRUITING
- Defining the recruitment strategy and process
- Continuously recruit, interview and match candidates in order to have already qualified talent ready to meet customer’s current and anticipated needs
MANAGEMENT
- Be in charge of your consultant team career evolution (Annual review, career committee, trainings)
- Supervising the financial status of your business activity (P&L)
- Organizing & coordinating the commercial relationships with your partners
What we are looking for
- Master’s degree in Business Administration / Management or Engineering
- 2 - 4 years of previous experience in consulting or business development with focus on banking and insurance clients
- Native German speaker and excellent knowledge of English
- Entrepeneurship spirit, proactivity and will to achieve challenging goals
