THE SEARCH:
Altus Partners have been retained by a market leading Large Cap PE Backed Manufacturing business to secure a proven Treasury Director, reporting directly to the CFO.
This is a key strategic hire, offering full ownership and autonomy to lead, develop and enhance the internal treasury function.
The group currently sits at revenues of circa €1.5bn with a positive EBITDA and this position will be based at the companies HQ in Dusseldorf.
The Treasury Director will be pivotal to the business executing its value creation plan and working towards an exit within the next 2-3 years.
They are looking for someone with a strong track record of developing and leading high performing treasury teams within a fast paced / high growth environment.
THE ROLE:
This opportunity offers a very broad and interesting remit with full ownership of the internal treasury function and a key strategic partner to the CEO, CFO and PE investors.
You will be a visible on-site leader within Dusseldorf HQ, with an expectation of 3 days per week in the office.
Key responsibilities:
- Reporting directly into the CFO, you will review current treasury processes and implement / execute a plan to further develop and enhance the efficiency of internal controls and processes.
- You will be leading a team of 10, with 2 direct reports providing ongoing support, development and up-skilling of the team.
- Full ownership of Cash Management, Debt, Foreign Currency and Financing processes.
- Maintaining and developing banking relationships.
- Direct engagement with PE Investors, presenting key reports and analysis monthly.
- Cash flow forecasting and ongoing development of internal forecasting models.
- Working closely with the businesses finance leadership on the development of key processes, ensuring key compliance and regulations are adhered to.
- The ongoing development of internal treasury policies.
THE REQUIREMENTS:
- Relevant Treasury Director experience within a Large Cap environment (circa €500m plus revenues).
- A track record and evidence of developing internal controls and processes.
- Demonstrable evidence of developing and leading high performing teams.
- Any prior exposure to a Private Equity or Manufacturing environment would be desirable, but it is not a pre-requisite.
- Hybrid working is available, but you will need to be in the Dusseldorf office 3 days per week, with additional days based on business needs.
