I am currently partnering with a leading global financial and transaction advisory consultancy that is looking to appoint a Director within its growing Financial Due Diligence practice in Frankfurt.
With over 6,500 professionals across 32 countries, the firm is one of the world's most established independent advisory businesses, trusted by leading private equity investors, multinational corporations and financial institutions on complex, high-value transactions.
With a history spanning almost a century, the business has built an exceptional reputation across M&A, financial advisory, valuation, restructuring and transaction services. Its integrated international platform means consultants can draw on specialist expertise across the entire investment lifecycle while maintaining close relationships with their clients.
They are now looking for an experienced Financial Due Diligence Director to lead major transaction engagements, develop senior client relationships and play an important role in expanding the firm's German advisory business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone from a Big Four or leading transaction advisory consultancy who wants to combine the international scale and reputation of a global firm with greater autonomy, commercial responsibility and the opportunity to help build a growing practice.
The Opportunity
- Lead complex buy-side and sell-side Financial Due Diligence engagements for leading private equity funds and corporate clients
- Advise investors on financial performance, quality of earnings, working capital and key transaction risks
- Take ownership of significant client engagements, working directly with investment professionals and senior executives
- Build and strengthen relationships with private equity investors, corporate clients and dealmakers
- Lead and develop high-performing consulting teams, working closely with Managing Directors
- Contribute to business development, winning new mandates and expanding the firm's presence across Germany
- Collaborate with international advisory teams on cross-border transactions
About You
- A strong background in consulting or transaction advisory, ideally from a Big Four Deals practice or another leading advisory firm
- Significant experience delivering Financial Due Diligence for private equity and corporate clients
- Strong technical expertise across quality of earnings, financial analysis, working capital and M&A transactions
- Proven experience leading consulting engagements and advising senior client stakeholders
- Excellent commercial judgement, leadership capabilities and an interest in business development
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial and motivated by the opportunity to take on greater responsibility within a global consultancy
