pulliPerform static and dynamic analyses as well as fatigue and damage tolerance analyses for cabin completion and modification projects /liliSupport the Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineering to develop working methods to ensure an efficient work flow /liliEnsure correct consideration and application of Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance and Interpretations /liliEnsure adequate communication and liaison internally, especially with the Engineering Team as well as with external Third Parties /li /ulh3Position And Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform static and dynamic analyses as well as fatigue and damage tolerance analyses for cabin completion and modification projects /liliSupport the Team Leader Mechanical Design Engineering to develop working methods to ensure an efficient work flow /liliEnsure correct consideration and application of Certification Basis, Rules and Regulations, Means of Compliance and Interpretations /liliEnsure adequate communication and liaison internally, especially with the Engineering Team as well as with external Third Parties /li /ulh3Key Aspects of the Activity /h3ulliStatic, dynamic and fatigue calculations of different installations (e.g. interior monuments, antennae installation, additional water tank, etc.) in airplanes with different methods (e.g. Finite-Element-Analysis and hand calculations). /liliReview and approval of drawings and designs for stress aspects /liliWork out of repairs and modifications in regard of stress /liliConsulting with the mechanical design engineering to achieve light and cost saving structure solutions /liliDevelopment of technical as well as safety and certification relevant documentation such like reports, analysis, assessments /liliEstablishment of FEM models and Structural Substantiation Reports /liliDevelopment and procurement of material testing /liliDevelopment of engineering standards /li /ulh3Required Skills and Qualifications /h3ulliMaster’s degree in mechanical engineering, aeronautical engineering or relevant field /liliProfound knowledge of fundamental physics, technical mechanics, thermodynamics, aerospace technology and materials /liliMinimum 5 years structural substantiation experience /liliProactive behaviour with excellent written and verbal communication skills in English - additionally French and/or German is advantageous /liliExperienced FEM user (Femap). Experience with CAD software (AutoCad, CATIA, Solidworks). Proficient in MS Office.
