To support a well-known company in the service sector, we are currently seeking your assistance - effective immediately - as part of a temporary staffing arrangement (salary range up to 90,000 euros gross per year) for the location in southern Munich as a Payroll Specialist - Italy (m/f/x).

Your Tasks
- Managing and coordinating the monthly payroll process for employees in Italy
- Handling payroll processes in ADP GlobalView and supporting Workday-related activities
- Reviewing payroll inputs, outputs and reconciliation reports for accuracy and completeness
- Processing employee lifecycle changes, including hires, terminations, transfers and rehires
- Ensuring compliance with Italian payroll regulations and statutory reporting requirements
- Managing Italy-specific payroll topics, including CCNL requirements, EGR bonus schemes, statutory contributions and social security
- Investigating payroll discrepancies and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Responding to employee payroll queries and providing support on payroll-related matters
- Coordinating with internal teams such as HR, Finance and People Operations as well as external payroll providers
- Maintaining payroll documentation and supporting knowledge transfer within the team
Your Profile
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Italian payroll
- Strong knowledge of Italian payroll legislation and compliance requirements
- Experience managing payroll for medium-sized or large organizations with 300+ employees
- Experience handling complex employee lifecycle changes and payroll corrections
- Fluent English skills, both written and spoken
- Independent and structured working style with limited need for supervision
- Experience with ADP GlobalView is an advantage
- Knowledge of Workday HCM is desirable
- Experience in a multinational company or shared service center is a plus
- Experience supporting payroll transitions, transformations or outsourced payroll processes is advantageous
