This role leads physical security operations across multiple sites, reporting directly to the Cluster Security Manager. /ph3Key Aspects Of The Role Include /h3ulliManaging day-to-day physical security operations /liliMaintaining site security posture /liliOverseeing security guard force vendors /liliEnsuring compliance with AWS security standards /li /ulpWe maintain the foundation of AWS cloud services, ensuring continuous availability of computing resources for our customers worldwide. /ppThe ideal candidate will combine security operations expertise with strong leadership abilities. We offer comprehensive professional development opportunities and the chance to shape the security of one of the world's largest cloud providers. /ph3Key job responsibilities /h3pResponds to Security situations as they arise, based on the direction of the Cluster or Regional Security Manager /pulliSupports the on-site contractor Security team as the primary security contact during the shift and provides guidance based upon existing Physical Security Standards and local SOP’s. /liliReports all unusual events to the Cluster Manager in a timely manner. /liliProvides guidance and direction to the contract security officers to maximize the effectiveness of the Security department. /liliOversees access control systems and badge deliveries. /liliInvestigates security events via the alarm and CCTV monitoring system. /liliCooperates and coordinates with the Security Operation Center during security incidents or any other security related matter. /liliCreates and constantly improves procedures, processes and workflows using data and metrics to identify issues and areas of improvements. /liliDevelops specific knowledge of the various operational process paths within the Data Center to identify security vulnerabilities. /liliPerform various security inspections, audits and investigations as required and as instructed. /liliTravel to other geographic regions as required /li /ulh3Basic Qualifications /h3ullihands on experience in a similar role within the public or private security industry, with demonstrated ability to use data and metrics to improve processes and customer satisfaction. /liliStrong English verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail and ability to integrate into an international work environment. /liliFlexibility and availability to be on-call to support out-of-business-hours emergencies both remotely and on-site. /liliWillingness and ability to travel on company business to Data Centers within the Cluster and abroad. /liliValid driving license with eligibility to drive in Switzerland. /lili3+ years of experience within similar role in the public or private security industry. /lili3+ of continuous use of Microsoft Outlook, Power Point, Excel and Word. /lili3+ of experience using data and metrics to improve processes and/or customer satisfaction. /liliAbility to integrate into an international work environment with a willingness to travel on company business. /liliMust have the ability to be on-call to support out of business hours emergencies remotely and on-site. /liliEnglish verbal and written communication skills with attention to details. /liliMust be prepared and have the ability to work and travel to Data Centers in the Cluster and abroad. /liliMust have current driving license and be eligible to drive in Switzerland. /li /ulh3Preferred Qualifications /h3ulliExperience using CCTV, access control and intrusion detection systems /liliManagement experience of vendors /liliHas used investigation techniques to deep dive on events /liliStrong communication skills /liliAbility to learn and adapt quickly to company tools for data gathering and analysis /liliMetrics oriented /liliAbility to handle pressure and act swiftly and calmly in time of crisis /liliAbility to handle confidential information with care /liliAbility to integrate into an international work environment with a willingness to travel on company business. /li /ulpAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
