Delivery Consultant - Security, Risk, and Compliance, AWS Professional Services

Job Summary

Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking a Delivery Consultant to work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage AWS solutions that meet technical and business objectives. The role focuses on driving customer success through the cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery.
• Engaging with AWS customers and internal stakeholders as trusted security advisors to executives and technical teams.
• Promoting Amazon’s culture of security and maintaining the highest security standards in interactions with customers, partners, peers, and internal stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53, S3).
• Experience implementing AWS services in distributed computing environments.
• 5+ years of hands‑on security experience in Cloud Security, Application Security (security SDLC, threat modeling, code review), Identity & Access Management, Network Security, Data Protection, Incident Response; hands‑on experience implementing enterprise security solutions such as DLP, WAF, SIEM.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in IT implementation.
• Technical expertise in designing and implementing cloud computing technologies.
• Experience leading the design, development, and deployment of business software at scale, or recent hands‑on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience.
• Fluent in French, Spanish, German, or Italian (spoken, written, and read).
